Pena´s mill

 For many years, it has provided an indispensable service to the residents of the region, using the river's rapids as its driving force. 

The industry, by its very nature, gradually became a meeting point for people and a place where the news was told while waiting for the turn to grind or saw. The factory continued to work until the seventies, although in recent years it was only used as a mill. By then, the owner's father had built a sawmill with modern technology and that operated with electricity. 

In 1998, the renovation work on the house began, which ended in 2003 when O Muíño de Pena became a rural tourism house.
