Santa MarÃa Magdalena de Pereje´s church
The church dates back to medieval times, although it has undergone several reforms over the centuries. The building combines elements of different architectural styles, its simplicity and elegance being particularly notable. Its modest Romanesque style, typical of rural churches in the area, stands out, with a rectangular nave and a square bell tower.
The main facade is very sober, but retains a unique beauty thanks to its traditional materials, mainly local stone. Inside, there are interesting religious images, including that of the Virgin Mary Magdalene, the patroness of the church, venerated by the local faithful. You can also find remnants of decorations from other styles, such as the Baroque.
