sanmiguel(monterroso)
The Church of San Miguel de Monterroso is a Romanesque-style temple, built in the second half of the 12th century.

It underwent renovations in the 16th century and its presbytery was modified in the 19th century. Its walls are built with masonry and the roof is made of gabled tiles. The main entrance has a semicircular arch, as well as two orders of columns with shafts. On the south side, the door has a semicircular arch, which is hidden by a flat tympanum. The triumphal arch, also semicircular, rests on columns and capitals decorated with various motifs. On the side walls, there are heraldic shields, which were completed in 1588.
