Huertas waterfall

Legend has it that one “mid-summer” night, a young woman becomes pregnant by her boyfriend. When he hears the news, he rejects her and throws her from the top of the waterfall. As she falls, the young girl cries out “Santa Marta, help me!” and is miraculously saved. Hence the name of the Santa Marta waterfall.
It is a natural place of special beauty where the waters and rocks create unimaginable sounds. A small mill at the bottom of the waterfall and lush vegetation create an environment of incomparable beauty.
